About me
Jaimie Winkler, RD, LDN, CEDS-C
aka Feeding My Soul
Jaimie Winkler is a registered dietitian and eating disorder specialist who has spent her career working with people in the complicated spaces where food, body, identity, health, and recovery overlap. Working in the field since 2006, her experience includes many years as a dietitian in residential eating disorder treatment, as well as working across programs at McLean Hospital at the intersection of nutrition and mental health. She has presented and lectured in a variety of professional and academic settings, supervised dietitians across the country, and helped create school-based nutrition education programs.
Come to the Table grew out of that work—and out of a desire to create something less instructional. The music, coloring pages, and reflections are meant to offer room to sit with ideas rather than master them, and to make space for curiosity, resistance, humor, discomfort, and connection.
Her work is grounded in the belief that recovery is not just about changing what someone eats. It can also involve autonomy, belonging, preference, boundaries, pleasure, self-trust, and finding different ways to meet needs that an eating disorder may once have helped hold.
