What began as goofing around with new technology became something much more. As a working clinician with more than 20 years of professional and lived experience, I had accumulated countless creative concepts that remained trapped in the nether reaches of my mind. AI gave me tools to bring some of those ideas into form — and to translate what I have learned into a different kind of education.

I have enormous respect for the artists and musicians whose work contributes so profoundly to our collective emotional intelligence and emotion regulation. My use of AI is not intended to diminish their craft or suggest that technology can replace it. Rather, these tools made it possible for someone who is not traditionally trained as an illustrator or musician to turn decades of clinical experience, personal insight, writing, and imagination into something people can see, hear, and use.
